Ithemba

Straight after graduating high school in 2009, I volunteered with TravelWorks in South Africa. I lived and worked in the township Kayamandi in Stellenbosch, teaching children in need Art & English. I captured my time spent with these kids with a series of photographs titled “Ithemba”, which translates to “Hope” in Xhosa.
